Caramelized Pears with Almonds

(A simple yet sophisticated dessert—juicy pears roasted to golden perfection and topped with
crunchy almonds and a drizzle of caramel.)
Ingredients:
 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
 2 tbsp butter
 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
 1 tsp cinnamon
 ¼ cup sliced almonds
Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter and mix with sugar and
    cinnamon.
  3. Brush pears with the mixture and bake
    for 20 minutes.
  4. Top with almonds and bake for 5 more
    minutes.
